Growing in the Lord – Women of today find guidance for their lives, encouragement for their walk, and inspiration for joyful service through intentional study of the Word and service with friends.
Since the 1850’s, women of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod formed local auxiliaries to meet the needs of people. In the 1920’s these women began to coordinate their efforts by uniting in state and regional leagues.
The women began donating their change, ‘Mites’ based on the Bible passage to help people with God’s Word and monies locally and globally.
As the “Face of LWML,” women are engaged in opportunities to use their gifts to impact the world for Christ in their daily lives.
All Women of St. John’s are automatically members of this group. All women are encouraged to attend any event or activity we sponsor.
